Job description
What you will do in your working day
We are looking for an enthusiastic ,committed approachable person to work towards becoming an early years educator to work within our early years setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children with a desire to support every child to develop skills for their future learning and development whilst working towards their own professional development.
Duties:
- Support with children within the early years and birth to 5 framework [training will be provided]
- Teach and implement curriculum in a fun and creative way
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, external professionals and fellow team
- Participate in on-going professional development opportunities
- Work collaboratively within the Nursery as a team
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working with children ages 0-5 years old
- Must be willing to attend additional training and have flexibility within their own learning programme
- Previous experience not essential but some knowledge of working with children ideal
The training you will be getting
- Early Years Educator Level 3 diploma
- 1:1 support from an Apprenticeship Assessor
- In-house mentors provided
- Protected study time during the work week
- Various, essential training and skills provided as part of your role
- Paediatric First Aid
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
