Join a highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Dover as a Manager Senior Manager or Partner Designate and unlock exceptional internal progression prospects with partnership on the horizon for the right candidate within 15 years depending on experience.
In this dynamic position you will work with a supportive team in a fantastic mediumsized successful chartered accountancy firm handling a diverse client portfolio encompassing accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT. This role is perfect for someone eager to become a Partner in the near future. Youll also benefit from a readymade client portfolio and fantastic support and development from the wider partnership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied client portfolio spanning sole traders partnerships and limited companies each with distinct turnovers sizes and complexities.
- Oversee and provide OMB client accounts and tax advice including planning.
- Review Ltd company sole trader and partnership accounts.
- Review corporation tax computation calculations.
- Assess and review VAT returns.
- Prepare and present management accounts to clients.
- Contribute to the practices marketing efforts.
- Participate in shaping the strategic direction of the practices future.
- Supervise and train junior staff members and trainees.
Requirements
As a Partner Designate in Dover your qualifications and experience will include:
- Possession of ACA/ACCA qualifications with a minimum of 5 years in a practice setting.
- Previous roles as a Manager or Senior Manager or Partner within an accountancy practice showcasing your depth of expertise.
- Experience in client management people management or business development would be advantageous.
