Job description
Our client is looking to recruit a Construction Solicitor to join their growing Leeds office. This is an exciting time to join a national law firm with great new offices in Leeds. The successful candidate will join a recently appointed Partner and get involved in high quality Construction matters.
Client Details Our client is a large legal firm with offices across the UK. They advise clients across a range of sectors from Education, retail, technology to health care. The staff employ over a 1000 professionals and having a growing network of offices across the UK. The firm has recently moved into new offices in Leeds.
Description The Construction Solicitor will support the Partners and get involved in a range of work and responsibilities including;
- Working on contentious and some non-contentious Construction matters.
- Advising contractors, developers and sub-contractors on construction disputes.
- Getting involved in all forms of Litigation including ADR.
- Prepare and review various construction contracts.
- Maintain client relationships and build new ones with support of the Partners.
- Participate in business development activities.
Profile The successful Construction Solicitor should have:
- A background in contentious or non contentious construction or both.
- Specialised knowledge in construction law and likely to be around 1-5 years PQE.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ties to the Leeds area.
- A solution-driven approach and the ability to work under pressure.
Job Offer - An estimated salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per year.
