- Assist in the successful implementation and integration of a new ERP system with the financial systems.
- Provide sound financial information on the upgrade of facilities, keeping track of costs and time critical events.
- Lead and develop the small finance team, making sure that all financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
- Implement finance related policies and approach including cash management, credit control and capital requirements.
- Establish a high level of credibility and strong working relationships with all relevant external parties and stakeholders.
- Resolve outstanding accounting issues and reconciliations.
- Implement systems to provide the senior team with daily key info and the preparation of a monthly management information pack.
You should ideally be qualified member of an accountancy body, preferably CIMA with experience in a business environment. You’ll be a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at operational levels. You should have exceptional communication skills and be highly adaptable in style to meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders. You will also need strong IT skill, especially Excel, and be able to enhance processes and ways of working with an ability to thrive under pressure and to seize opportunities to drive the financial performance of the business. On top of your salary, you can expect a good benefits package, career development and support with training as needed in a friendly work environment. Hybrid working is also possible in this role.
