Our search is for a passionate and highly motivated conceptual thinker; a creative problem solver with a proven track record of high-quality creative, to join our team as Creative Strategist. As Creative Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our marketing collateral, turning business objectives into effective creative briefs, overseeing the entire process, from concept to production. You’ll work in-house as part of our marketing team, working closely with the marketing manager and leading the creative thought process and idea generation to present our brand messages in new and creative ways across a multitude of marketing and communication activity, for our full portfolio of brands. The ability to blend creativity with commercial acumen is a must. The Leger Shearings Group’s ever-growing portfolio of European and worldwide holiday experiences offers something for everyone, from escorted holidays by coach, river or rail to specialist tours and holidays focusing on interests such as battlefields, motorsports, hobbies and crafts. The ability to adapt your creative approach to produce engaging and effective marketing collateral tailored to a range of target audiences is imperative. Collaborating with the wider team, you’ll be a natural leader with a comprehensive understanding of the creative process in the advertising world. With the ability to comfortably brief and lead projects, you’ll confidently bring inspiration, new ideas and solutions to the table, proactively offering creative input an knowledge and making sure deadlines are met. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be confident in making quick changes and adapting ideas to meet the needs of the business and will be able to hit the ground running. Ability to communicate effectively is a must. This role is full-time office based in Rotherham. Hybrid and/or remote working is not suitable for this role. Key Skills/Experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing/creative environment.
- A creative and strategic thinker.
- Direct response and marketing/sales experience.
- Proven track record of creating and executing compelling campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective collaboration skills.
- The ability to lead creative briefings and ideation sessions, pushing the team to deliver exceptional creative output.
- A clear communicator.
- A strategic and creative thinker.
- The ability to create bold and exciting concepts from briefs.
- Persuasive and articulate in directing, inspiring confidence and trust in colleagues.
- Self-motivated.
- A good understanding of how brand values can be translated into creative concepts.
- The ability to consistently generate new, innovative ideas that are on-brand and on-brief.
- Comfortable in managing and nurturing creatives.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work at a fast pace on multiple projects.
- Understanding of how to engage an audience and articulate messages and stories clearly.
- Experience in the travel industry would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities Lead, create and execute innovative, creative concepts for marketing projects and campaigns for our brand portfolio, ensuring exciting and on-brand customer experiences
- Guide our team of designers and collaborate with our wider marketing team in the creative approach and execution to achieve our desired goals.
- Work closely with our marketing team to ensure a sympathetic, customer-focused approach.
- Guide, steer and challenge creative development to produce marketing collateral which is on brief.
- Create compelling visuals that will engage new and existing customers.
- Develop and articulate creative strategies aligned with brand objectives, ensuring a cohesive and impactful messaging approach.
- Be the go-to person for inspiration.
- Lead and nurture a team of creatives, providing guidance and support, and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Work with all marketing team members to regularly review creative output against KPIs
- Craft comprehensive and insightful creative briefs that serve as the foundation for our marketing content across various media.
- Lead the creative thought-process and idea generation.
- Ensure our brand messages are presented in new and creative ways across a multitude of marketing and communication activity.
- Create and oversee the development of highly effective advertising campaigns that drive revenue growth and enhance market visibility.
- Brief and lead all creative projects.
