We are currently seeking a Registered Manager for our Ofsted-rated Good', 4-bedded home, offering top-tier therapeutic care rooted in a comprehensive understanding of trauma and attachment. This presents an ideal opportunity for someone like you. As a leader, you will guide, energize, and uplift your team, becoming an integral part of a community of Managers within the region, supported by a strong team ethos.

This spacious, detached 6-bed home offers abundant room and designated areas within, along with a sizable rear garden. Situated conveniently close to amenities and transport links, it provides support for up to 4 young individuals, with 2 staff members available on-site around the clock. In this role, you will offer tailored support to children on a one-to-one basis, addressing all facets of their lives, including emotional well-being, educational support, health, physical and mental wellness. We prioritize fostering independence, offering avenues for new experiences, and nurturing their interests and hobbies.

My clients boasts an extensive team of Support Workers under the guidance of the manager and a Deputy. Operating on a shift basis, they prioritize maintaining consistency, boundaries, structure, and routine, all crucial elements in fostering a sense of safety for the children. Their aim is to help them learn to accept support and guidance while establishing strong and meaningful relationships, ultimately making our facility their home. As role models, they lead through their actions, actively engaging with and participating in activities alongside the children. As the Registered Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure that each team member upholds these essential aspects. We are staunch advocates for the children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Successful Applicant:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a similar environment at a Senior level.
• Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples workforce.
• Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
• Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Childrens home regulations.
• Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic leader.
• A strong people manager with a hands on approach.
• Experience of budgets and financial management.
• Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
