3.5T MULTI-DROP DRIVER
Location: 21 Garstang Rd, Preston PR1 1LA
Pay rate: £10.80 per hour
Shift times: 09:30 - 16:30
Duration: 6 weeks of work, Must be flexible Monday to Friday
Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our National Client based in Preston for a 3.5T Driver to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start!
ROLE AND EXPERIENCE
- Delivering paint and decorating supplies to decorators and trade customers via a planned route within a given area.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting, could be required to lift 10 litres.
- Good knowledge of the local area (Preston and Blackburn)
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be aged over 21 years old
- Full UK Driving licence with no more than 9 points.
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Have appropriate PPE (Safety Boots/High Viz Jacket).
- Flexible to support with additional duties e.g., carry out general warehouse/store duties during periods when not occupied in driving duties.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Multi-drop experience is desirable as there could be anything between 5 and 50 drops a day (depending on demand and the areas).
- Good customer service skills (engaging directly with customers)
