Senior Biomedical Scientist Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Pathology | Permanent Contract | Part Time Up to £40,500.00 pro rata depending on experience 22.5 hours per week To look after the nation's heath, we must provide the highest standards of care. As a Biomedical Scientist at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will: Deliver quality pathology services and taking a share of covering on-call service out of hours. Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation and reporting, through to quality control. Support the organisation in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures. Lead the Quality Management of the department As a Senior Biomedical Scientist you will need: To be HCPC registered. MSc Biomedical Science (or equivalent qualification/experience). Relevant laboratory experience in multi-disciplinary biomedical science and significant Haematology/Blood Transfusion experience. Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques. The ability to understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
