The Theatres Team are looking to recruit a Stores and Equipment Co-Ordinator working 37.5 hours per week. The post holder will be required to work flexibly as part of a team to ensure that the ordering is completed for all speciality groups within the department. supervise the staff allocated to work on the back corridor ensuring that all their responsibilities are completed. To supervise and monitor the delivery and receipt of all stores items delivered via hospital stores department from outside companies and also NHS supply chain. Responsible for the reporting and handling of equipment for service and repair and also the management of instrument trays both for receipt and return to SSDU. in addition this role involves the management of loan kits for use during surgical procedures. The working pattern for this post is 5 days Monday - Friday 08.00-17:00 & 08:00 - 16:30. Although in some circumstances you may be expected to work flexibly to cover alternative hours if required to. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination, receipt and dispatch and storage of all equipment utilised within theatres. This will involve liaison with the Theatre Co-ordinator/Team Leaders to ensure supplies / specialist equipment is ordered, delivered, decontaminated and returned to the department in advance of the list. Utilise computerised tracking systems to order, monitor, receipt and dispatch of items and maintaining equipment levels throughout the theatre complex.
