Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer Consultant, you will work on mesh WiFi hubs and edge computing solutions. Utilizing your expertise in Embedded Linux iMX platform and secure Docker environments, you will debug, develop, and enhance our platforms for optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities: - Debug and develop new features for mesh WiFi platform.
- Debug and develop new features for Docker-based edge computing solution.
- Investigate and resolve WiFi driver issues, including frequency hopping problems.
- Oversee release processes for edge computing solution.
- Write Python-based test scripts for new functionality and missing tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct investigations into system issues and propose/implement improvements.
Requirements: - Senior Software Engineer experience, preferably in a consulting capacity.
- Proficiency in Embedded Linux iMX platform and secure Docker environments.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to develop/debug new features.
- Experience with WiFi drivers and familiarity with frequency hopping issues.
- Excellent Python programming skills for test script development.
- Capability to oversee release processes and contribute to system improvements.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
