Financial Accountant, Dungannon

Reed is partnered with a major global manufacturing client in Dungannon, in the appointment of a Financial Accountant on a permanent & full-time basis.

The role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation and reporting of monthly Management Accounts. You will review and update equipment costings, standard costs and provide key KPI report information to the site department managers. Key activity includes:

• You will prepare month end financial information to tight deadlines, including preparing and posting journals and the input of all financial data into the reporting database
• Prepare and submit all monthly and quarterly supporting Management accounts, Site Packs, and associated narratives
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
• You will actively engage in all Internal SOX self-testing, the review of all internal procedures and assist in both internal and external audits
• Assist in all aspects of Inventory control, review variances, and prepare KPI’s
• Provide all KPI information required by department management and corporate management as required
• Assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of financial management as the need arises
• Prepare all Month End control account Reconciliations

Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years’ post qualified experience (ACA, CIMA or ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience in preparing and reporting accounts, previous manufacturing industry experience is advantageous
• Strong accounts systems knowledge and proficient in Excel Spreadsheets and MS Word
• Auditing / Internal Control experience
• Working experience of Oracle or other ERP preferred
