Behaviour Mentor
Location: Haringey
Salary: £90-£110 a day
Start Date: April 2024
Are you a nurturing, patient and kind individual who enjoys working with young people?
Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a passion for supporting students with SEMH and behavioral needs?
An Ofsted rated “good” alternative provision in Haringey is seeking a behaviour mentor to join them this April.
 
About the school:
The schools aim is to find increasingly better ways of supporting, motivating and inspiring the students to be as successful as possible in the future. The students join the school at various points during their secondary schooling due to a previous school placement having broken down for various reasons.

 
About the role:
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting young people with a range of SEND needs
• Encouraging students on a 1-1 and small group basis to engage
• Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school’s policies and procedures
• Using skills learned such as Team Teach (Desirable)
