The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the MEP design and coordination efforts for assigned projects, ensuring that the design is in compliance with all applicable codes and standards
- Managing and coordinating with other project team members including architects, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality MEP designs and systems
- Developing and reviewing design calculations, plans, specifications, and reports
- Preparing cost estimates and participating in project budgeting
- Conducting site visits to review construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in MEP design and project management
- Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health disciplines
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
