Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities The Senior Commercial Associate will be supporting the 8 EU commercial field teams across a variety of activities (reporting to VP commercial Europe, when recruited to the sales director). The associate will be accountable for managing the whole RFP process on behalf of the EU commercial team, will manage the whole vendors’ list and will be fully responsible for the end-to-end contracting process (including CDA, new vendor form, MSA, SOW and PO). When we look at the list of country activities in 2023 we will be planning 80+ projects in the field. The associate will be partnering with finance, legal and procurement to ensure compliance and invoice reconciliation for the whole EU budget. The associate needs to show the ability to learn to manage all IT systems including, but note restricted to, Office, Agiloft and NetSuite.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of approximately 80 field in country activities such as peer to peer meetings, local meetings, lecture meetings, sponsorships, etc. coming from 10 country business leads in market, working in highly complex and dynamic environment
• Gain cooperation from internal and external stakeholders, by using influencing skills
• Communication with HCPs and vendors for setting up commercial activities
Leadership quality over all in market projects in cooperation with country business leadsProblem solver when things are done for the first time
• Management of all our vendors from CDA & contract until payment
• Accountability of end-to-end quality management of contract process
• Organisation and logistic support for all internal and external meetings (i.e. flights, hotel, etc…)
• Administrative support for Veeva Events in liaison with our Launch Manager
• Accountability of PO management in liaison with procurement and finance
• NetSuite support to reconcile invoice within the EU commercial budget
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience & knowledge
Essential
• Self starter being able to manage and execute with sometimes less guidance, proposing solutions to ideas
• Broader problem solver with high level of analytical skills required, working on in market projects with a diverse and briad scope
• Leadership quality in the way in field projects are executed in a cross functional way
• Understanding of the healthcare systems in the 15 EUR markets, with minimal requirement to understand well the German and French healthcare environment
• Management of significant in-country SMM budget, and providing regular updates and reconciliation with finance
Communication with HCPs and vendors to deliver excellent customer centric flawless execution of in country and EU meetings (90% externally focused meetings, 1-3 internal sales cycle meetings)
• Management of Europe VEEVA events and approval flows within the compliance framework
• Checking fair market values and consistency in contracts
• Understanding of accounting, accrual and payments
• Willingness of working in a cross-functional role within different departments
• Willingness in owning projects and deliver solutions
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of business language and good business acumen (knowledge how to approach ROI e.g.)
• Ability to run after action reviews on specific projects
Desirable
• Openness to learn new systems like Veeva Events, NetSuite, ePO, Tungsten and Agiloft
• Interest in agencies management in evaluating pitches and managing end-to-end RFP
• Basic knowledge about budget allocation and reconciliation of budget
