Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for a Fixed Term, Maternity cover role as a Year 3 teacher?

Details on the Year 3 teacher role are:

• Maternity cover role to start from summer term, 15th April 2024.
• Interviews to commence 04th March 2024
• School situated in Harrow Borough
• MPS1 - UPS3 Outer London Payscale
• Open to ECTs and experienced Primary Teachers
• Good Public transport links: Metropolitan tube and bus stops close to school

The successful Year 3 teacher will need to:

• Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education.
• Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will also be considered
• Have the ability and experience of teaching in Year 3 with good knowledge
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and use creative approach
• Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team

Academics Ltd are currently working with a three form entry Primary school in the London Borough of Harrow, who are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to join their team.

The role is a two term maternity cover and the school are committed to providing support and mentoring to the Year 3 teacher to enable a quick and smooth cover/transition into the school.

The Year 3 teacher would ideally be enthusiastic, prepared and have a passion for teaching. Previous experience as a Year 3 teacher is preferred, however, they are open to considering ECT's who have a willingness to learn and develop.
