Job description

We are looking to complete our team with a brilliant Laboratory Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to expand into a position with multiple touch point accountabilities throughout the lab.

Previous experience working in a dental setting would be beneficial but not essential so we are open to reviewing applications from all sorts of backgrounds.

The Laboratory Leader role:

As Laboratory Leader, you will be responsible for the operation of your Laboratory. You will have leadership responsibility for all staff within your site in Bolton and will be responsible for achieving financial targets and driving group strategies into your businesses to achieve sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Delivering Sales & EBITDA targets for the business
+ Working with the Operations Director to create and deliver annual sales and profit plans
+ Implementing group plans at a local level
+ Developing and implementing GP improvement plans for the business
+ Recruiting, retaining & developing staff to create high performing, effective teams
+ Creating and implementing succession plans for all roles in the business
+ Putting in place personal development plans for all critical and high potential employees
+ Creating and implementing action plans to improve staff engagement
+ Ensuring compliance with DAMAS, local & group quality & assurance processes
+ Ensuring all group & statutory Health & Safety requirements are met & maintained
+ Actively communicating to all staff group initiatives, developments & people policies
+ Working with the Head of Brand & Marketing to ensure that your business is branded
+ Creating a diverse, inclusive, kind, innovative & high performance culture

About you:

+ Educated to degree level or equivalent technical qualification
+ General Management and experience working in a dental setting is beneficial but not essential
+ Execution oriented and target focussed
+ Excellent people leadership skills
+ Microsoft Office 365 literate including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
