The role
As an Electrician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be responsible for the provision of planned and reactive electrical maintenance to electrical systems and equipment across the Estate, in support of the company's contractual and statutory obligations, helping to ensure a safe and cost effective working environment.

Day to day, you'll work within a Hard Facilities Management setting where you will diagnose electrical faults, plan, implement and co-coordinate repairs, monitor supplies ensuring inventory is up to date and ensure all systems are updated to reflect the work completed.

• Support supervisor in developing and managing site wide budget for electrical services
• Complete day to day site checks, work orders, and repairs as required in support of the company's service level obligations
• Identify improvements in electrical services supply to the Estate and work with the Electrical Supervisor and other colleagues as required to implement cost effective solutions
• Provision of training, advice and subject matter expertise in electrical systems and equipment to colleagues, auditors, inspectors and third parties as required

This role is full time working 40- hours per week Monday to Friday and will be based at our Minley site.

Essential experience of the Electrician

• Proven experience in similar working environment as well as experience in producing and evaluating Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages (minimum Word & Excel

Qualifications for the Electrician

• City & Guilds Electrical Installation 2391 and latest edition wiring regulations qualification (BS7671)
• Hold a current CSCS / ECS card or equivalent.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
