GENERALIST HR ADVISOR

Exeter

Up to £35k per annum

8am - 4pm

Come join our team as an HR Advisor in Exeter! We are a thriving manufacturing company looking for a resilient and proactive individual to provide front-line HR and employee relations service to all our valued employees.

As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation and adherence to our HR policies and procedures. You will be the go-to person for responding to all staff queries related to their employment and will be responsible for keeping our employees informed and satisfied.

Being up to date on the latest employment legislation and best practices is a must in this role. Your expertise in this area will be relied upon as you guide our company in staying compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. Your knowledge will also be vital in managing complex case studies and providing sound employment law advice to our management team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coach and develop managers to effectively handle day-to-day employee relations matters. You will be a trusted advisor to the management team, providing guidance and support as they navigate people-related issues.

We are looking for someone who is highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.

As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for handling a range of employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and performance management. You will need to be able to manage these situations with tact and sensitivity, while also being able to confidently escalate matters when necessary.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees seeking support or advice on HR matters. You will need to be approachable and empathetic, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport with people. Your strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet will also be essential in responding to various staff queries and concerns.

We are looking for an HR Advisor who is highly organised and able to manage their time effectively. You should be able to prioritize your workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail is a must, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
