Job description
Introduction
I am a young transgendered woman who is significantly socially isolated, and I am looking to employ a companion to facilitate me getting out into the community. I am a gifted musician, play the electric guitar and I write and record my own music. I like anime, certain social influencers and occasionally eating out. I am looking for someone who can relate to my interests and has an understanding of body dysmorphia and alexithymia.
Hours: 4 per week
Rate: £10.42 per hour
The role includes the following:
The development of a companion relationship to facilitate socialisation at home and in the community.
To facilitate the development of meaningful friendships with other peers.
To facilitate trips out e.g. guitar shop, meals out.
Drop off and pick up from activities such as Youth club.
Occasional pick up and drop off from college.
Occasionally prepare some simple meals.
To maintain clear and accurate records as determined by the employer including timesheets and financial records and agree and sign the timesheets.
To attend relevant training sessions.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the employer.
To maintain and uphold the strictest confidentiality even after employment has ceased.
Person Specification
Previous PA/caring/companionship roles desirable
Caring and understanding and sympathetic to body dysmorphia, and Alexithymia
Be interested in my interests which include: music and guitars, anime, some youtubers, eating out.
Having own car would be an advantage.
