Malvern College, a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school with an international reputation for excellence, seeks to appoint an Combined Cadet Force Contingent Commander.
Malvern College’s Combined Cadet Force includes Army, Marines and RAF sections and currently has a contingent of over 200 pupils. Pupils join in Year 10 and usually continue with their CCF activities until the end of the Autumn term in Year 11. Many pupils continue in Years 12 and 13 and therefore take on significant leadership roles in the CCF.
The Contingent Commander will be responsible for the leadership, management and support for all members of their team and play a significant role in overseeing the effective integration of the CCF into the College’s co-curricular programme .
Malvern College has a vibrant staff community and excellent facilities on our 250-acre campus, as well as its own salary scale. The school is situated close to the centre of Great Malvern on the lower slopes of the Malvern Hills.
Closing date: Noon Thursday 14th March 2024 . Malvern College reserves the right to close this vacancy early and therefore applicants are encouraged to apply sooner. The selection process is currently scheduled to be held w/c 18th March 2024. This will involve spending a day at the school.
