This role is working for a successful BRC AA Graded food manufacturer which produces high-quality food products and exceptional service - enabling their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality.
About the Supply Chain Coordinator job
The purpose of your role will be to aid the Supply Chain Team in the smooth running of procurement and planning whilst providing constant essential communication to key stakeholder departments.
Key tasks
• Manage excellent communication between Supply, Technical & Production for material concessions as well as managing vendor details closely with the accounts team and communicate effectively with suppliers.
• Contribute to planning meetings with wastage accrual figures, costing model inputs and usage analysis.
• Purchase order creation, and aid with admin duties to aid efficient running of accounts.
• Provide accurate data updates using spreadsheets and reporting including cost analysis, balance updates, lead time adjustments and setting parameters.
• Planned Order Detail Management.
• Planning comms – RM issues, delays, plan change effect.
• Arrange staff cover where necessary and organise material sampling for NPD & cost projects.
About You
The successful candidate should have experience within the FMCG/Food Industry possibly with experience of dealing with suppliers in the fruit industry, possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally, be efficient and highly organised, working to deadline as well as a natural problem solver.
• Educated to GCSE A- C Grades or equivalent.
• AX or similar system experience preferred.
• IT literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft office, numeracy literate with accuracy.
• Able to provide flexibility when necessary.
More details
The Supply Chain Coordinator job is based in Wigan, with hybrid working of 2 days and is paying £30,000 according to your experience.
The package includes 21 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, hybrid working for 2 days per week post training.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 16.30pm and Friday 07.30am - 15.00pm.
