We are currently looking for HGV Drivers Cat C (PM Shift), to join our busy teams at our site in Duncrue Street, Belfast. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required.
As an evening shift driver, you will start at 3.00pm on Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as and when required (NB - start time will be earlier on a Saturday).

Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent customer service skills that support the RiverRidge Brand
- Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
- Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally)
- Follow all regulations relating to drivers hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles
- Working collaboratively with the transport team to ensure excellent operational service is maintained, and continually improved
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Undertake all necessary training, & cooperate with the security clearance process as required
- Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Must hold a valid HGV licence - Category C
- Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC
- Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points)
- Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
- Ability to undertake manual work
- Flexible approach to working hours is required in relation to finish times, weekends, and bank holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good Communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good Knowledge of drivers hours, rules, and regulations
- Team Player
Desirable Skills
- Minimum of 1 years HGV driving experience
- Previous experience working in the waste industry
Further Information
Competitive Hourly Rate £13.72ph plus £2.11ph shift allowance for evening shift.
Location: 62-64 Duncrue Street.
Generous Retention scheme opportunity to earn £3,250 per year pro rata payment based on start date.
Overtime rate of Time and a Half £20.58 per hour for hours worked over 45 hours Monday to Friday.
Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Time and a Half.
28 days Annual leave incl. of 8 Customary/Bank Holidays.
