Job description
We are looking for an experienced electrical and mechanical engineer to work for a leading facilities company. Your new role As the lead electrical/Mechanical engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance and operation of critical electrical amid mechanical systems within Herts and Essex Hospital. You will oversee an engineer, administrator and sub contractors ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety and compliance are met. Desired experience & Qualifications JIB Approved electrician JIB Gold Craft/ Black Electrical Contracts Management ECS cards A member of the IET Level 3 award Periodic inspection testing Level 3 award Initial verification and certification of electrical installations C&G/NVQ Electrical Inspection and testing 18th Edition Electrical installation 2382 Experience with carrying out Electrical/ Mechanical assessment and the appointment process. Experienced auditing engineers and assessing contract/site requirements. The position would ideally suit an established electrical bias engineer with mechanical experience. Working in a similar role for the last 5 years. The ability to construct and implement safe systems of works. Water systems knowledge Experience issuing permits.
