Life as a Finance Business Partner at Humdinger …
We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team and lead snacking operations. As a Finance Business Partner at Humdinger, you will lead all aspects of accounting for your area of the business and provide a full and comprehension business partnering support to the Humdinger snacking Site Directors and their teams. You will help to protect and create value for the business, as well as supporting and inspiring a small team of Finance Analysts and Cost Accountants who are based at each snacking manufacturing site across the UK.
This role is Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 per day (37.5 hours per week). The role can be based at our Bromborough or Sherburn sites, with hybrid working available.
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all operational financial results
- Provide analytical insight and operational support to all operational functions
- Continuously challenging performance and recommending corrective actions
- Provide strong and rigorous financial leadership for all operational teams
- Proactively manage risks, opportunities and budgeting accuracy
- Ensuring the processes and systems within the finance team enable Zertus UK&I to face today and tomorrow’s challenges
- Assist in running the Planning and Budgeting process for Zertus UK&I
- Support and develop the financial integration of the business wide S&OP process
- Team management and support.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience within a manufacturing organisation (ideally food & drink) and an understanding of the inherent opportunities and challenges therein
- Experience of multi-site operational footprint
- Strong leadership ability and proven experience of building competencies in a finance team
- Experience in senior financial management roles, working closely with and ability to influence senior executives
- Good understanding of IT systems
- Good understanding of supply chain
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, together with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
- Open, collaborative style and the ability to roll sleeves up and get into the detail
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment

When you join Zertus, you will be based at one of our Humdinger, Kinnerton, Sun Valley or Lir Chocolates UK/ Ireland locations, unless your role is hybrid/ home based.
Our Locations: Hull, Heckington, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Fakenham, Bromborough, Navan (Ireland). We have a Hub Space in Camden, London for Hybrid/ Home Workers too
