King’s Bruton is an HMC co-educational boarding and day school of 360 pupils aged 13-18.
An inspirational and suitably-qualified teacher of Chemistry is required to join this successful department from April 2024. The successful applicant will be a motivated and qualified teacher with either a specialist or Chemistry related degree.
At KS4 Chemistry forms part of the core curriculum, where pupils study IGCSE Chemistry as part of the Triple, Double or Single Science routes. Chemistry is offered as an A Level option and pupils benefit from outstanding facilities and a fantastic programme of enrichment to further enhance and support teaching.
The role would suit a recently qualified teacher, or someone with more classroom experience who would enjoy the challenge of joining a dynamic and successful department. The successful applicant will be a creative and passionate teacher who enjoys helping pupils of all abilities succeed. The Chemistry department benefits from outstanding facilities, excellent technician support, and excellent links across the other sciences.
