Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $145,985.00. Base salary ranges from $85,000.00 to $129,948.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information
Great Lakes College Senior Campus, (GLCSC), is a school for Year 11 and Year 12 only. The student population sits at 347 including 10% of students identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The Support Unit currently has three classes, two MCAT and one IM with enrolments steadily increasing. Most of the students transitioning from Year 10 to the Senior Campus come from the Great Lakes College Year 7 to 10 campuses. The Senior Campus shares a site with Tuncurry Campus (7-10) and a TAFE Campus.
The Senior Campus offers a diverse range of subjects allowing students to graduate with a joint HSC and TAFE accreditation, support unit students have access to the same courses.
Transition into the Senior Campus and to post school pathways is a strong focus with continual strengthening of programs to allow all students to access learning and the opportunities to gain knowledge, skills and attributes that will help equip them for meaningful work and satisfying careers.
Specific Selection Criteria
· Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with autism spectrum disorder and mild intellectual disability in a secondary school setting.
· Experience in the design, implementation, and review of individual education plans/personalised learning and support plans that address the social, emotional, and educational needs of each student in collaboration with the student, their family and those working to support the student.
· Demonstrated quality classroom practice and the ability to develop and deliver a differentiated curriculum and quality assessments to learners with a diverse range of abilities.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
