Nurse Practitioner Jobs Lowestoft for a GP surgery required!
Locum Meds is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work as a locum in a GP surgery near Lowestoft.
In exchange, we are offering £30-£60 per hour (plus holiday pay). This is an excellent opportunity to regain control of your work schedule by working only shifts that suit you and to work with a broader range of patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and also physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, and counseling and also provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
Required qualifications:
- RGN
- Evidence of recent Study (PREP)
- Recognized Minor Illness. Injuries Certificate or willingness to undertake
- Recognized Nurse Prescribing Qualification
Skills
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Experience
- One must Registered Nurse(RN)
- NP-focused graduate master’s or Doctoral Nursing Program
- Successfully Pass a National NP Board Certification Exam
