Job title: Subject Leader STEM
Location: Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Salary: £43,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Subject Leader STEM to join our close-knit team.
About the role
The successful applicant will raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area and to monitor and support student progress and be accountable for student progress and development within the Subject Area.
You will develop and enhance the teaching practice of others and ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and adaptive curriculum for students studying in the Subject Area, in accordance with the aims of the School and the curriculum policies determined by the Governing Body and Headteacher of the School.
Be accountable for leading, managing and developing the subject/curriculum area and effectively manage and deploy teaching and support staff, financial and physical resources within the Subject Area to support the designated curriculum provision.

Brookthorpe Hall School is a new independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 16, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs, SEMH/ASD/Complex trauma. Our dedicated team will work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
