Transaction Risk Analyst
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Overview:
Our client, a leader in merchant payment technology, is seeking a talented Transaction Risk Analyst to join their dynamic team in Manchester. As a Transaction Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our company's financial interests by analysing transactions, detecting potential risks, and recommending proactive measures to ensure optimal risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse transaction data to identify potential risks and fraudulent activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimise transactional risks and losses.
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activities and escalate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance risk management processes.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transaction risk analysis or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
