Bow School is seeking to appoint a skilled and passionate teacher of Design and Technology with a specialism in the area of resistant materials / product design, but confident to teach across the disciplines within Design and Technology. In addition, the post holder will be required to teach some Art. The best suited candidate will have the desire to support young people achieve their academic excellence, hone their skills and the development of their character.
The successful applicant will work in a dynamic and committed department, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally experienced or newly qualified classroom teacher to make a significant contribution to the further improvement of the department. Of particular interest to candidates for this post will be the significant investment that we have made to ensure that the Design and Technology and Art facilities, (workshops, graphics rooms and a food technology room) provide us with the ability to completely transform learning experiences in this area.
