The role
Fugro is the world's leading Geo-data specialist. Through integrated data acquisition, analysis and advice, we unlock insights from Geo-Data to help our clients design, build and operate their assets in a safe, sustainable and effective manner. Our Inspection and Monitoring (I&M) business is considered a key component of our full life-cycle approach and is a focus area for growth. The I&M Engineer is responsible for the successful delivery of our I&M works, in collaboration with our integrated team. The I&M Engineer will support our Inspection & Monitoring projects with tasks related to installation, commissioning, inspection and testing of instruments and sensors.
Who we're looking for:
I&M Engineer will provide technical expertise, quality control and managerial support to the Project Manager, manage I&M team on site to ensure that I&M works are performed in accordance with applicable method statements and risk assessments, regulations, policies and industry best practice. I&M Engineer will work closely with Data Manager to ensure all instruments and sensors are properly connected and recording data. The successful applicant will have a bachelor degree and at least 3 years of experience with Instrumentation and Monitoring in a civil/construction industry. Site-based duties: work together with projects team on the preparation, installation, acquisition and supervision of geotechnical and structural monitoring projects.
