Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading packaging manufacturer in their search for an experienced buyer to work in the Wrexham Offices. 



For the successful Buyer, our client is offering: -

i. Salary up to £40,000
ii. Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
ii. Permanent 
iv. Benefits: Holidays 20 days + bank holidays, pension and discretionary annual bonus 



The Role of the Buyer;

i. Source and co-ordinate cost-effective raw materials and ready-made disposable packaging products from international locations
ii. Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, followed by drawing up contract documents
iii. Forecasting of price trends and maintaining forward pricing for assigned categories
iv. Managing UK warehouse storage levels and forecasts for up to 3500 SKUs



What our client is looking for in a Buyer;

i. Previous experience in buying raw materials from international suppliers - ESSENTIAL  
ii. Qualified with CIPS, CPP and / or relative buying education - DESIREABLE 
iii. G eneral food and disposable packaging sector (plastic, paper, aluminium and sustainable raw materials) experience - ESSENTIAL 
iv. Travel in the EU may be required as part of your role.
