Salary range:  £35,745 - £38,223 per annum 

Work location:   Didcot Children and Family Centre, Park Road, Didcot

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working  

Contract type: Temporary for 1 year

Vetting requirements:  This role is subject to a Criminal Records Check.

About us

 

The Family Solutions Service in Didcot are seeking to recruit a Family Help Practitioner to join their Family Help Team based at The Children and Family Centre in Didcot.

 

 

About the role

 

 

This role is a grade 10, 37 hours a week, with a flexible working pattern to meet the needs of the service. The ability to travel around South East Oxfordshire area is essential.

 

The work will include case management and direct work with children, young people and their families providing timely support and interventions to address safeguarding concerns and reduce risks to children and young people.

 

It will also involve leading Team Around the Family meetings and delivering a range of evidence-based group programmes to children, young people and families who meet the threshold for the service both within the Children and Family Centre and at outreach venues.

You will be an enthusiastic worker who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
