Are you an empathetic CAMHS Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

We are now recruiting for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join an innovative team to join a well-established NHS trust based in Telford, Shropshire. The role is available to start as soon as possible, and the appointed candidate will need to work full-time hours per week for an initial 3-month period. This role is offering a variety of day and night shifts 24/7. The candidate must have CAHMS experience working with 0-25 years.

The successful CAMHS Practitioner will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessments to a caseload of children and young people with a range of mental health conditions. Assessing a mental health crisis and delivering safe and effective home treatment for young people in accordance with their care plan and risk assessment. Setting young people who present to our local acute trust facilitates a holistic assessment along with robust, safe discharging plan and risk management.

Skills and experience needed:

• Show excellent CAMHS experience
• Able to complete urgent assessments
• Extensive experience of working as a CAMHS Practitioner
• Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
• Experience of a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
• Can work well independently and as part of the team
