Warehouse Improvement Manager
Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting a Warehouse Improvement Manager to lead and drive operational excellence within our clients warehouse facility.
The Warehouse Improvement Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements, optimising inventory management, and enhancing overall efficiency to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
Job Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory control, order picking/packing, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics and enhance communication channels within the warehouse and the wider business.
- Create, implement and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to implement cutting-edge solutions.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on new processes and improvements to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Warehouse process optimisation skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Supply Chain/Logistics knowledge.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Degree/qualification in a related field.
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
