Job role:  Learning & Development Trainer

Location: Hybrid, Birmingham-Luton-Leicester 

Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week.

The Job Role

As a Learning and Development  Trainer you will contribute to our vision of being the UK’s favourite property manager by contributing to the successful implementation of the Learning and Development strategy, with the development and delivery of high-quality blended solutions including classroom, virtual and digital learning solutions.

This role will be working collaboratively with the L&D team, the wider People team, and stakeholders across our operational teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and deliver a range of learning interventions using a range of methods including face to face, virtual and online e-learning covering a wide scope of roles and skills across the operational sites.
• Support a learning & development culture that enables individuals to develop personally and professionally
• Delivery of training that supports compliance, quality, and technical skills development.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders and wider team to ensure training is aligned to business needs and challenges.

• L&D lead for Apprenticeship programmes in corporate areas.

• Measure and monitor the effectiveness of learning programmes to ensure an appropriate return on the investment.
• Design and delivery of basic behavioural skills workshops.
• Design and delivery of ongoing Induction for new employees.
• Supporting the ongoing enhancement and evolution of our learning management system to increase the user experience and engagement.
• Be the first point of contact for site learning queries and guidance requests.

Skills & Experience

• Full UK Driving License

• Level 3 training or L&D qualification or professional experience equivalent.

• Demonstrable experience of design, delivery, and implementation of blended learning solutions with measurable outcomes.

• Confident, optimistic, articulate communicator – both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge and experience of supporting colleagues in their professional development
• Proven experience working in a corporate environment designing and delivering learning interventions

• Driving continuous development and improvement within your own areas of responsibility and yourself.

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and use of L&D systems.
