Location: Lingfield Point, Darlington, DL1 1RW
Pay: £13.50 per hour + £150 bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm
Start date: Earliest start 22nd April with intake dates throughout the end of April and start of May.
Do you want to be part of a huge exciting and crucial project with Capita, enabling you to contribute to a behind the scenes annual project on behalf of the Department of Education. The role will involve you preparing, organising, logging and packing of Year 6 Exam Papers ready for marking. Capita Public Services are looking for experienced Warehouse Administrators on behalf of the Standards and Testing Agency (STA) during the upcoming busy exam period. This is a great opportunity with a well-established and reputable organisation with the ability to maintain a fantastic work-life balance with fixed shift patterns.
We are looking for well-rounded warehouse administrators to take part in full time but temporary placement with the possibility of contract extensions. There are various departments within the operation that you could be working in, such as:
Validation - Working on indexing test scripts and matching scripts to pupil's names on imaging software.
Quality - Working on many various tasks that concentrate on ensuring the quality of the end product is correct before output.
Secondary Prep - Working on opening packages, checking, and processing batches of scripts from schools including indexing individual scripts into application.
Specific Duties Include:
- Logging large volume document intakes through handheld scanners and spreadsheets
- Opening, processing, and distributing high volumes of incoming mail daily
- Preparing bar codes for document batches to ensure tracking is logged correctly
- Guillotining large volume documents in preparation for batching
- Batching documents ready for scanning
- Operating large volume speed scanners
- Keying and/or indexing documentation
- Carrying out regular quality control inspections and investigating queries
You will need to be comfortable with a variety of tasks including both Manual Handling of boxes and logging/indexing of barcodes onto spreadsheets. This is a great opportunity to learn a selection of new warehousing skills including guillotining, scanning, validation, batching, and problem solving but full training will be provided.

You must have:
-Ability to work Bank Holidays and public holidays, most bank holidays will be working days.
-Safety boots
-Ability to use PC, you will be required to complete mandatory training on a PC so you will need to be comfortable with basic navigation of a PC.
