We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Transport Manager based at our Manton Wood Campus in Worksop. The primary focus of this role is to take operational leadership and budget responsibility of managing a safe and efficient operation.

• Take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation to help achieve operational standards and customer requirements.
• Accountable for the legal and efficient execution of transport operations and is the named CPC holder on the operator licence. The Transport Manager holds the transport P&L and is ultimately responsible for the execution of transport plans ensuring transport and network SLA's/KPI's are achieved.
• Leading Transport through effective leadership, communication, and development of the wider team. Driving a culture of high performance, safety, and compliance.
• Manage and review Transport KPI's, to identify KPL's, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours and POA and support any improvements.
• Identify and implement cost efficiency projects/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Fostering an environment that promotes sharing of ideas and best practice to the benefit of the network.

• Logistic Industry experience at a management level.
• Transport leadership experience.
• Transport legal compliance.
• H&S compliance and leadership Managing and building relations in unionised environments.
• Transport Certificate of Professional Competence – Essential.
• Strong Commercial Acumen and analysis.
