Job description
Responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager:
- Responsible for formulating the local category plan within the specified sub-category, establishing the corresponding NPD/EPD pipeline, and overseeing all associated activities (NPDs/EPDs), encompassing local activation and customisation tasks.
- Collaborate with R&D and Sales to monitor local brands and competitors, extracting valuable insights for one category/region to provide informed range and product recommendations.
- Analyzes the assortment of customers, identifies local needs of consumers and customers, and strategically builds a successful portfolio for each category. Manages the local portfolio from inception to conclusion, ensuring its alignment with the intended purpose, namely, offering the 'right product at the right price'.
- Develops a creative approach to influence and guide customer choices, actively supporting local tender requirements in close coordination with Commercial colleagues.
- Acts as a category management advocate for partner customers, regularly presenting and adeptly recommending and influencing growth strategies for private label products based on a profound understanding of the market and category.
- Implements category solutions through a comprehensive utilisation of the marketing mix.
