Role Description:

Bank of America is seeking a talented Firewall Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.   In this role you will be designing, engineering and implementation of firewall services requests, while interfacing with multiple stakeholders.   The ideal person for this role will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and can work both alone and in team settings.   Adherence to industry standards and products is crucial to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• You will own the running and delivery of Change Management and Release & Deployment functions and teams for EMEA Network Services.
• Supporting Technology systems infrastructure deployments, upgrades, Business Continuity testing, office relocation and restacks, collaborating across other technology teams.            
• Deliver high-visibility projects efficiently.
• Facilitate meetings, produce status updates and maintain project costs.
• Analyse identify and manage programme risks.
• Establish internal communication networks and produce accurate timely reports.
• Collaborate with global peers and foster a ‘One-Team’ mentality.
• You will encourage process improvements and support career management for team members.

What we are looking for:

• A proven experience working in Network Services including Firewall technologies Fortinet or Checkpoint.
• Be a self-starter who can show initiative and be comfortable working alone or with collaborating with a team.
• You will be accountable, holding others accountable when required.
• Organisational skills and analytical capabilities.
• A sound understanding of network-based technologies, protocols and you can translate business requirements.
• Manage multiple projects.
• Good understanding of ITIL and Agile

Skills that will Help

• Experience in Networking-related disciplines within a design, implementation, or operations role.
• Relevant Industry certifications in Network Technologies
• Experience of working within Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking)
