History Teacher- Hythe

Academics are working in conjunction with a great school near to Hythe who are looking for a experienced History Teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4, Key stage 5 being desirable but by no means essential. Teaching across other Humanities subjects to support the wonderful department team may be required in Key Stage 3.

The best teacher for this role will work well with the department in its goal to ensure its students excel in History, Geography and Religious Studies (RS/RE) and reach their full potential. Applicants with differing experience may be considered as the school has an excellent CPD Programme.

The Ideal Teacher for the role is:

* Great at creating engaging lessons in conjunction with the national curriculum
* Able to adapt to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities of all students
* Be level-headed and able to manage poor behavior so to minimise classroom disruption
* Able to articulate themselves well with other staff to discuss any concerns in relation to student welfare and behavior
* Is passionate about their career in “Education and Training” and their specialism of History
* Able to achieve great exam results as a result of their teaching skill
* QTS or equivalent qualified
