Job description
Tasks required by this job includes:
• Examine the specifications and drawings to ascertain the necessary tasks, including the design, layout, and safety aspects of the scaffold.
• Check for flaws in the scaffold tubing and couplings. Choose, install, and fasten scaffold tubes until the scaffolding reaches the necessary height.
• Assemble and fasten wooden planks to create work platforms that are stable and able to support weight. Adjust awnings, guardrails, ladders, and cradles as needed.
• Install ropes, pulleys, and other lifting tools to make construction tasks easier. Build jibs, derricks, and other comparable hoisting equipment, making sure they are assembled and stable.
• Form rope slings, ladders, netting, and other rigging according to project requirements, and measure, cut, and repair wire or fiber rope to ensure safety and functionality.
