Job description

I am currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor. This role is permanent, full time and can be based anywhere in the UK, however weekly / fortnightly travel to East Midlands will be required. 

The role of the Bid Writer will edit, proofread and rewrite technical information. Some of the information will be provided internationally, so a keen eye for detail is essential. Extracting information from various documents across the business is vital to turn final tenders into literate and fluid context. International travel will be required and there will be the option of working from home.

This role will suit candidates with a solid 3+ years in a bid writing role. A good construction understanding in either main contracting or civils is desirable along with a good command of the English language. You will be required to liaise directly to the business director and coordinate with staff in all departments to collate technical information to use in PQQs, responses to ITT and business proposals.
