The Role

We are looking for a Callout/Repair Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending initial breakdowns and carrying out replacements of lift components where necessary. The ideal candidate should have a background of working on various lift makes and models, a good scope of problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other engineers. The Callout/Repair Engineer must also be able to communicate effectively with customers and other team members and to represent the company well. Salary dependent on experience, NVQ3 preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Attend initial breakdown visits or return for a tech visit to diagnose and repair issues
• Return and replace mechanical and electrical components where required
• Check Insurance Remedial Items and Measure up for possible works.
• Included in a Night-call Rota in weekly rotations when ready.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm
• Night shift in weekly rotations, 5 pm-8 am Mon-Fri, Sat and Sun all day (currently 1 in 3)
• Overtime where necessary and required (after 5 pm working)
• Weekend work is sometimes available.

Supplemental pay types:  Yearly bonus
