Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for a Transport Clerk in Doncaster to work for our client, who is a distribution and logistics provider working in this case, on behalf of one of the UK's biggest household & DIY retailers.
It would be preferential if you had previous experience in this type of role, and this position would suit someone who is:

What is involved in working as a Transport Clerk?
- Preparation of documentation
- Briefing and debriefing drivers & drivers mates
- Check all delivery documents to ensure correct delivery status
- Assist in the daily production and preparation of reports
- Carry out general administration duties including filing, photocopying tacograph reconciliation and data input
- Assistance in fleet administration, e.g. checking when vehicles are available for MOT’s, services, tax etc
- Ensuring details on LGV licence renewals are maintained and medicals arranged when required
- Booking in and out of drivers and the allocation of loads and vehicles for drivers
- Ensure all stock is controlled and managed, with recorded movements in and out of the warehouse handling area
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for effective operation of the Transport Department
