Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and making a difference in the lives of teenagers? We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Stockport. If you have experience in a similar role working with children and possess the energy and outgoing personality needed to engage with a tricky class, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Help, manage, and engage tricky classes, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with both students and parents
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or with Child-based experience
- A good understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- An outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to the educational and social development of young children
- Enhanced DBS, or willingness to undergo the check
