An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-established Charity for a Care Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership experience who is willing to lead a team and make a difference.
Type: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Location: Hertfordshire
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of two specialist single occupancy learning disabilities services
- Manage a team of approx. 25 staff including 2 x Team Leaders
- Ensure that compliance with organisational, legal regulations and those of the local authority are adhered to and the quality of support is of the highest standard possible
- Adopt active support to reinforce the PBS model through coaching and leadership, ensuring all staff are competent and confident
- Ensure all services are effectively managed to deliver excellent support to all customers
- Carry out support assessments of complex needs referrals
- Lead on improvement action plans following quality audits and inspections
- Effective management of any safeguarding incidents and appropriate escalation of any emerging risks
- Work in partnership with all stakeholders, promoting a positive working relationship
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures across area of responsibility
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of line managing a team in a similar environment
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of processes involved in running a service
- An Enhanced DBS with the Adults list checked or willingness to obtain a new one
