We are advertising for Full Time and Bank Support Workers to join our growing team at Eastleigh House during an exciting and changing time at the service. The successful candidate will be joining an established, competent staff team who will support throughout a full induction period, training, mentoring and beyond.
Eastleigh House is a residential service set in large grounds of a quiet area in Teignmouth overlooking the Estuary, close to town centre, with good transport links that provides personalised, high quality, person-centred, safe support for adults with complex needs including Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Ensuring the people we support live happy and fulfilled lives, you will be supporting individuals in line with bespoke preferences and choices to live their best life. This includes:
- Maintaining family and peer relationships
- Building links with the local community, such as local café for cake and coffee, lunches out and shopping
- Theatre, cinema trips, visits to the funfair and circus
- Visits to the beach, long walks local nature reserves, picnics
- Swimming, trampolining, bowling
- Daily living skills including cooking, personal care, cleaning, baking
- Celebrating holidays, birthdays, events
- Music, crafts, gaming
