• RCVS accredited hospital with excellent onsite facilities including a CT scanner, visiting MRI truck, digital x-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy, diathermy, dental suite with dental x-ray and much more

Our client, an independent veterinary hospital, boasts RCVS accreditation and operates six practices in the surrounding areas. The Huddersfield hospital is equipped with cutting-edge facilities, including a CT scanner, visiting MRI truck, digital x-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy, diathermy, dental suite with dental x-ray, fully equipped lab, ultrasound, high sterility theatres for orthopaedics and soft tissue procedures, and dedicated wards for various animals. Attaining hospital status, and with branch practices holding GP status under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, our client stands as a pillar of excellence in veterinary care.

As the Surgical Senior RVN, your pivotal role involves coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities of nurses and auxiliaries. You will ensure efficient working practices and maintenance of professional standards, fostering a supportive working environment. Active participation in the clinical work of the practice is expected, alongside line management responsibilities and collaboration with the Head Nurse and other senior team members.

The Role:
• Full Time role 37.5 hour week
• Equal share of weekend rota
• No OOH
