Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently seeking a skilled Payroll Manager on behalf of one of our esteemed clients in Birmingham. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing payroll functions.

Role Overview:
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. You will collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to streamline processes and resolve any payroll-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and distribution of payments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, legislation, and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software, particularly Sage, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
